I am Co-Director and Co-Founder of Art Beats Festival, an international arts festival established in 2023 through funding from Lancaster University's Global Advancement Fund. The festival was developed in collaboration with Professor Mayco Axel Santaella (Sunway University) following a shared vision to create a platform that brings together students, artists, researchers, and creative practitioners from across the Lancaster University–Sunway University partnership.

Art Beats alternates annually between Lancaster University (United Kingdom) and Sunway University (Malaysia), fostering international artistic exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and cross-cultural dialogue. The festival showcases exhibitions, screenings, performances, artist talks, and workshops while maintaining an international online exhibition that has featured work by artists from more than 14 countries.

As Co-Director, I lead the festival's strategic development, artistic direction, programming, partnerships, funding, and delivery. I also co-design and lead its international filmmaking programme, which brings together students from Lancaster and Sunway Universities to collaborate in mixed international teams. Mentored by professional filmmakers, participants develop, produce, and edit original short films during an intensive week-long workshop, culminating in public screenings as part of the festival.

The 2026 edition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Lancaster–Sunway global partnership through the themes The Power of Two, Crossings, and Future Memories, highlighting contemporary artistic practice while strengthening international collaboration through creative practice and cultural exchange.
