Emma Nixon

Emma is a Lancashire based actor and graduate of The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA) 2012. Emma graduated with a BA Hons in Acting and the prestigious Acting Prize for Individual Performance.

Since graduating in 2012, Emma has had the pleasure of working with some excellent theatre companies and venues around the country. In 2013, Emma toured Titus Andronicus as Bassianus/Alarbus/Martius with all-female Shakespeare company Smooth Faced Gentlemento Buxton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals and then to York Theatre Royal. This was then revived at Pleasance Theatre, London in Spring 2015 and Emma reprised those roles and the role of Nurse. With the same company, in 2014, Emma went on to perform the role of Henry V in their production of Henry V.

From then on, Emma has performed roles such as: Hamlet/Lady Ann/Viola for The Rose Company at The Dell in Stratford-Upon-Avon, Dr Watson in Sherlock Holmes for ELART Productions, Ratty in Wind in the Willows for Attic Door Theatre, Lady Capulet/Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet, and most recently Queen Rat in Dick Whittington and Bobbie in The Railway Children.

Emma is also a partner in the creation of The Keats Project, performing and assistant directing site specific theatre in the Lancashire and Cumbria Area.

This is Emma’s second short film, and although she is still new to the world of film, she has loved being a part of ‘Kidnap’ and the Bina Film family.
