Art Beats Festival 2023

As Festival Coordinator Interns and Social Media Officers for Art Beats Festival, my colleague Sky Fong and I supported the planning and delivery of the festival over an eight-month period. Working closely with Festival Director Dr. Maryam Ghorbankarimi, we coordinated administrative tasks, managed enquiries, prepared calls for submissions, and produced promotional content for social media. We also organised and reviewed artwork submissions, developed the festival website to showcase selected works and programme information, and assisted with the coordination of exhibitions, screenings, workshops, and masterclasses. During the festival, we helped ensure the smooth running of events and documented activities for the festival’s official social media platforms.




Current work

Working across producing, editing, and festival programming, I explore filmmaking from both creative and organisational perspectives. Most recently, I produced the short film 0-0-2, overseeing its development from pre-production through to post-production while drawing on experience across multiple on-set departments. Beyond production, I have worked as a Pre-selector for The Bay International Film Festival, evaluating film submissions and contributing to the curation process, and as part of the organising team for the international Art Beats Festival. These experiences have shaped a collaborative approach to filmmaking and a deep appreciation for the journey of a film—from its earliest concept to its connection with audiences. I am continuously seeking opportunities to collaborate with like-minded creatives and tell stories that resonate across cultures and communities.
